Wow! How long has it been since this place was active? Personally, I haven't even logged in for over a year, so this summer, expect things to change so long as I can keep my life in order (ie - busted up car, moving out, etc.). Over the coming weeks, we will be going through the backlogs of Notes we have received and all former members on the list below should be expected to be contacted to remain in the group (once a member has been contacted, they will be removed from the Group Members section until they confirm they still want to be a part of the group). Anyways, feel free to post comments, request to be added or just show your love for being an American by making a deviation and showing it to the community, even if it isn't American related (we have love for all the arts).

Yet another month of Americn Pride!!

We would like to wish everyone who sees this a very good Thanksgiving! Let us know how it went, what you did, who you met, etc. and we might post some of those which we receive. Enjoy your week!

The second is that i would like for, at one point in the future, have all the members select their best deviation to which we will put into one mega deviation, and call it the "All-American Deviation", or something along those lines.

9/11 Deviations
First off i would like to thank ~dendarr for this idea. Here is what he says:
"Also, I have suggested in the deviantART forum, and I will suggest to you, that we should request as a group that the administrators create a catagory for the remembrance of 9/11, NOT another contest, which I think would be outright rude/sacreligious/tacky/whatever you wanna call it. I have a piece I have prepared and will upload shortly for the remembrance of 9/11, and i think there should be a catagory created for and event that so changed, not only our lives here in the United States, but the lives of everyone everywhere in the world. 9/11 was the day that changed the world from what it was before, to what it is now. It should NOT be allowed to pass into history as just another footnote as some obscure date on the calendar..."
Allthough i cannot do that *wishes i could* we will post a link to the deviation. If you have a 9/11 related deviation, note us with a link and we will post a link to it here in the journal for more Americans to see
