the general layout is simple and nice, and the text looks slick and clean, although the colors are a bit too bubblegum for my personal taste. the size is good, which is important for an ID.
the flag background looks odd with that red tint over the whole thing, and the texture just stands out as being made with a stock photoshop filter. i (and anyone who's played with photoshop filters) have seen it too many times for it to retain any visual interest. an original texture overlayed on there would definitley improve the look.
this is a good start, but could use some revisions.
